Young people do use the internet more but the generation that will likely be the real ‘digital natives’ is the ‘iPod Generation’ These individuals are currently in the 12-15yr age gp and have grown up post LP and CD. So if you only collect data from people who are already engaged with the technology, you are not likely to get a representative picture of how people in that group are using technology. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It&amp;#39;s part of a larger problem with the broader educational technology discourse in my view. Educational technologists sometimes forget there are a lot of people who aren&amp;#39;t immersed in the technology and aren&amp;#39;t using it in their daily work.
